Michael Chahine is a banking veteran, renowned for his expertise in preserving and growing clients' wealth with over 30 years of experience at powerhouses such as Citibank, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Emirates NBD.

In his most recent general management role, he transformed a deposit taking platform into a multi-asset class investment platform, growing clients’ assets from under $4 billion to over $18 billion in less than 5 years and elevating revenues from less than $35 million in interest income to over $200 million in fee revenues contributing significantly to clients’ income and clients’ wealth. At JPMorgan, Michael doubled assets and revenues for the Saudi market within a remarkable 5-year span. Furthermore, at Credit Suisse, he grew his ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients’ assets to over $2 billion. Early in his banking career, he managed the high-profile representative office of the Saudi American Bank (Citibank affiliate) in New York during the Gulf War, coordinating multibillion-dollar transactions with US industries, particularly in commercial aviation, real estate, national security, and defense.

Michael's prestigious positions include Chairman of the Board at Credit Suisse (Lebanon) Finance S.A.L., Member of the Board at Credit Suisse (Lebanon), Executive Board Member at Emirates NBD Trust Company, and Chairman of the Emirates NBD Wealth Management Investment Committee, Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors of Aviatrans International, a Dubai based International aviation company. Currently, Michael serves as Board Member of Lido International Partners Ltd, a Dubai DFSA regulated advisory firm.

Michael founded and currently leads NexGen Desert Green Management Consultancy LLC. In this capacity, he continues to provide invaluable guidance to family businesses and patriarchs, addressing critical matters such as succession planning, wealth transfer, family business continuity, governance, philanthropy, and restructuring. Moreover, he serves on the advisory board of private family groups across diverse industries and offers his expertise to family offices at the DIFC. His partnership with Swiss/ European and US partners provide NexGen Desert Green with the depth and expertise needed to preserve and grow his clients wealth.

Michael's educational background comprises an MBA with Honors from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, USA, and a BA from Haigazian University in Lebanon. His remarkable achievements have garnered numerous accolades, including Emirates NBD being voted the best Private Bank in the Middle East in 2015.
